Picking Yourself Up

It is amazing how a couple sick days can ruin  months worth of gym dedication and eating healthy. I had a couple of weeks of me not feeling myself and it really brought me down in a big way. I ended up going to the doctor because I though I was having a Lupus flare. The doctor gave me meds and I started to feel better, but I still felt really down. I did not feel like myself. Since I was not able to go to the gym I ended up not eating healthy. I ate everything imaginable in sight and couldnt stop. I just ate ate and ate! I hated the way I felt and I didnt want to continue feeling this way. It has been 3 weeks now and today I went to the gym for the very first time in a long time. It felt good but I want to get back into my routine NOW. Tomorrow is a new day and I am going to make the best of that day and eat right and work out HARD! I luv it but I just cant let lifes struggles get me down like this. The mind is a very powerful thing and it can take over your body and soul if you do not have the will power, faith and strength to pick yourself up and move on.

Yummy Breakfast Sandwich from Subway!

So I started a new weight
routine, pretty much same exercises but focuing on 2-3 body part 3x
a week.

The breakdown will be as
follows:

Day1: Chest
Back Abdominals Day 2: Cardio Day 3: Quads Hamstrings Calves Day 4:
Cardio Day 5: Shoulders Biceps Triceps Day 6: Cardio Day 7:
Rest

I was getting
board so I needed to change it up a bit. Plus, I will be able
to focus more on each body part.

Morning work out Below:

Just so people can get an
idea, this is how I stay on top of having a healthy lifestyle,
being well stocked with snacks and other goodies. This is my snack
drawer at work, which needs to be re filled with some
fuel.

I guess I am going
backwards but this is my fabulous lunch. Homemade chicken noodle
soup from the mommy and a spinach salad, with a side of Special K
crackers.

Breakfast was
delicioso! I had one of those new Subway Breakfast sandwiches and
they were so yummy! I mean, I could have made it at home and
probably made it better, but it hit the spot after that early
workout!

Something Special from My Mommy!

So I have been obcessing over this KitchenAid Classis Plus Mixer for…..ever. I wanted to get it soooo bad but it was kinda out of the budget. But, one day when I went to visit my mom I saw the mixer in the kitchen and my eyes sparkled and I felt like a kid on Christmas Day!

The New Years Resolutions Came Late

So here they are, the resolutions. I dont like calling them resolutions, I feel I will set myself up for failure that way, so we will call them the Will’s, what I will be doing this coming year….

Most of these  I cant do until school is over, which is March 7th! But I am hopeful!
