Push up challenge: Week 2
See you next time!
I HATE PUSHUPS!!! But oh how I would love to be good at them. I like to think I am pretty fit, but every time I do a pushup I lose all hope. If you look below you will see how horrible I am at pushups! Please excuse the beginning where my head is cut off.
I decided to push myself to do more pushups when I was reading a YumYucky post the other day. YumYucky said how she gets bummed out when people say they can’t do pushups, and I realized I need to stop making excuses and just DO THEM!
The first step I took was downloading an app from iTunes called Hundred Pushups . It is a 6 week program that helps you complete 100 consecutive pushups, that is suicide. Below are a few screenshots of that app.
I will track my progress and make sure to give nothing but my best! I thought I would say that since it sounds good and inspiring, but really, I am going to KILL it!
Wish me luck!!!
Who wants to do the challenge with me?!
Below is a recap of Aurora and I Fitness Re-cap. There is nothing really good to recap and you will see why? LOL

We have a renewed motivation now and this is because of our co-worker, Jackie. She started her journey to a healthy lifestyle and I have never met someone with so much discipline, Amazing!!!! So, we are bringing back and harder then ever. Lets see what happens.
Nowel
Im going to do it! Im going to post at least once week. That shouldnt be hard, right? If I didnt have school and work I would have joined the blog a day challenge, but this will do for now, plus school is ALMOST over 9 more weeks until I graduate from my MBA program.
Lets see what happens!
So…. my co-worker (RandomAurora) and I have started ” The Challenge“. This little fitness challenge is to see who has the best overall fitness results over a 90 day period. Aurora will be following the concept of Body For Life, eating lots of protein and taking supplements plus weightlifting. I will be following a variety of concepts, mostly ones by Brad Schoenfeld and Weight Watchers, but NO protein shakes and NO protein bars, just the food God gave me on this earth! After the 90 days we will see who had the best overall results and a PRIZE will be won! We are not sure what the prize will be yet, but it will be a good one. We are posting stats and updates and hopefully our blog for the challenge will be up soon.
Below is the adorable video Aurora made for our Challenge

Below is a great tip from Bob Schonfeld about those women with square bodies.
If you have a naturally blocky waist, avoid performing weighted abdominal movements for your obliques (i.e. weighted side bends, etc.). Doing so will build muscle in this area and can reduce a tapered appearance.
Thanks RASHA!!!!!
