H8R

The other night I watched a new show on the CW called H8R. Every week the shows host, Mario Lopez, gets some D list celebrity and has them watch a video of their”Hater”. Once the celebrity views the video of their H8R basiclly saying how much they despise them, the celebrity then surprises the H8R and spends the day with them in order to try to change their viewpoint about them.

Honestly, the show is ridiculous, WHO CARES if someone doesn’t like you and believes everything the press writes about you, Seriously! When I see these celebrities coming on the show I feel like they are reveling their need to have everyone like them, their insecurities are broadcast to the world. Throughout the show they are trying to show their “real” side, what people dont see. I respect a person when they are able to live their life not trying to prove themselves to every single person, what is the point? Love yourself for who you are and if people do not like you for it then move on, they are missing out.

Getting back on Track with Jamie Eason

Since I have been on a 4 month Hiatus, this is going to be a long one.

Now for some fitness updates! Around July/ August I totally fell off the health/fitness routine and was just consumed with work, that I did not make time for myself. However, towards the end of August I decided to start a new workout routine that I found on Bodybuilding.com, Jamie Eason’s 12 Week LiveFit Trainer.

The program is separated into three phases; each phase focuses on different goals and consists of a 4 week nutrition plan and a daily exercises routine.  I decided to do it because I liked the fact that the there was an exercise routine set up for everyday, focusing on a different muscle.  The eating plan consisted of lots of protein and veggies, which is great because I love that stuff.

The only issue I came across at first was there was no cardio the first month, none, nada, zero, zip! I was timid at first, but then I told myself what the hell let me try something new. After the first month I had dropped inches and gained a lot of muscles.

I am on the last two weeks of Phase 2 and I am freaking out on how strong I am getting. Muscles are popping out and I am becoming much leaner. My husband even said he was more attracted to me, hahaha thanks :-/  I am excited to get into Phase 3 because that is where all the real magic happens. There will be a combination of HIIT and plyometrics routines, and the calorie intake will be restricted, in comparison to Phase 1 and 2.

What has also been a great help is the Facebook page that was created by someone who was doing the routine. There is over 2000 people doing the program and I feel obligated to finish the program strong, not only for me but for them, we give each other motivation. There is a lot of great tips and ideas on the page that helps answer a lot of questions that people may have when doing the program. After awhile everybody pretty much has the same questions when it comes to fitness and nutrition.

Below are the results I have so far, from beginning of Phase 1 to end of Phase 1.

The New Job Fashion Overview

Since I was relocating to Virginia I had to find a new job right away. After actively searching  while in Virginia, a week later I received two offers in one day, SCORE!!! I was so happy to receive two offers and I just wanted to make sure I was making the right decision.

Fast forward to today, and I am going on day two of my new job. I’m sure I made the right decision and I can’t wait for all the new things I am going to learn while I am there. Below are some pics of my work outfits for the first couple of days.
